My Death Knight has been running around in this set since Cata, and I’m still not tired of it.
I’m not a big fan of dark and hulky transmogs, nor do I like really skimpy outfits. This set is just right for me.
It’s based largely on the recolored version of the Battlegear of Might set, which drops in Burning Crusade instances. I’ve added some nice weapons, and a different chest piece. I haven’t seen anyone running around in this, and it gets the occasional “Nice outfit!”-whisper. Top it off with a matching hair color, and you got a lovely playful plate set that still looks like it’s armor!
It takes a while to collect all the pieces (especially since some only drop on hc mode), but that just adds to the thrill of the hunt. On the upside, it’s a lot cheaper than camping the AH for random drop items.
Again, I didn’t include a headpiece, cloak or shirt, but feel free to suggest good matches in the comments for others!
